Small RNA sequencing for choriocarcinoma and complete hydatidiform mole samples

MicroRNAs play fundamental roles in the development of various cancers. In this study, we investigated the miRNA profiles of choriocarcinoma (CC) and complete hydatidiform mole (CHM) samples. To investigate the miRNA profiles of trophoblastic diseases, we extracted RNA from 11 FFPE samples of choriocarcinoma from nine patients using laser capture microdissection. Moreover, 5 FFPE samples of CHM were used as control. Then, small RNA sequencing was performed.
