An intensive oceanographic survey was conducted during 19 days from 2013 September 7 to September 27 by IBRV ARAON to measure the spatial and temporal variation of water masses in the Chukchi Borderland/Mendeleev Ridge. The profiles of temperature, salinity and depth were obtained using CTD/Rosette system at 16 stations. To investigate the variability in spatial and temporal distribution of water masses and understand its transformation along the pathways and relationship with sea ice melting in the Chukchi Borderland/Mendeleev Ridge.
