NRS-17234 | Diary of duty and occurrences [Moulamein Police Station]

This series consists of a diary of duty and occurrences from the Moulamein Police Station. The volume comprises double pages which are divided into the seven days of the week. The right hand page describes the duties of police officers and the left-hand page indicates the use of the police horses. This allows for a description of duties undertaken or events that occur to be written in for each day. The name and number of each police officer is given, as is the brand number on each horse. The police duties are described in general terms often only indicating whether the officer was present at the station or sent to another post. The Specific Occurences column is used to provide details of incidents to which the police were called, changes of staff and similar matters. The section devoted to police horses usually indicates the distance ridden on the horse each day or whether the horse was rested.
