This series is a photograph album of Yass that was presented to Lord Carrington, Governor of New South Wales, by the Mayor of Yass, Edward Iceton, on 18 October 1888.The albums dimensions are 380mm x 460mm x 30mm and feature tooled leather binding, gilt-edged pages and contains cloth-hinged leaves consisting of photographs.The inscription on the cover reads "His Excellency the Governor with compliments from the Mayor of Yass 18 October 1888".There are 12 photographs of views of Yass and the surrounding area and there are descriptive labels at the bottom of each image.
