"We introduce a maritime trajectory dataset specifically designed for trajectory prediction tasks. The dataset is built from AIS (Automatic Identification System) data, selected for its higher granularity compared to other ship trajectory sources. It comprises two region-specific sub-datasets: DMA, containing trajectories from waters near Denmark, and USA, containing trajectories from waters near the United States. The raw data is collected from data provided by Danish Maritime Authority (https:\/\/dma.dk\/safety-at-sea\/navigational-information\/ais-data) and the Office for Coastal Management (https:\/\/marinecadastre.gov\/ais\/)."
