The goal of this study was to investigate the transcriptome of a cold-tolerant Listeria monocytogenes strain at multiple growth phases following a a down-shift in temperature from 20C to 4C, to gain a better understanding of the various mechanisms used by this psychrotrophic pathogen to adapt to cold stress.
