资源简介:
In developing nations, the tannery industry is a major polluter. Only 20% of the chemicals consumed are utilized consumed in the tanning process; the remainder is waste that pollutes the environment. The Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) is a promising approach to treat industrial effluent. In this study, the bacterial communities of the CETP tanks were analysed at 4 different treatment stages.: Raw effluent (RE), Primary treated (PT), Secondary treated (ST) and Tertiary treated (TT). To evaluate the bacterial community structure, Tthe V6 hyper-variable region of 16S rRNA gene was amplified and analysed by ion torrent sequencing to explore the uncultivable microbial bacterial community. The raw reads were filtered through PRINSEQ and analysed with BLASTX (NCBI/NR) for functional annotation and MEGAN for determination of their phylogenetic hierarchy. The population richness was approximately 303,333 reads in RE; 157,522 reads in PT; 353,884 reads in ST and 344,952 reads in TT effluent.
