This dataset contains preprints submitted to arXiv between 2008 and 2017, each of which belongs to at least one category starting with "cs.". A total of 141,961 preprints have been identified. The dataset also includes metadata such as article ID, version number, title, authors, categories, abstract, creation date, and update date. Some preprints may also contain DOIs and journal references. In terms of scale, this dataset has a total of 141,961 preprints. The task is to quantify the publication status of computer science preprints and track their correspondence with peer-reviewed versions.
