The Swedish Legal Corpus is a comprehensive collection of Swedish legal texts in the Parquet format, primarily covering documents created between 1970 and 2025. It includes parliamentary reports, laws, case law, and translated EU legal texts. Specifically, it contains over 15,000 government bills and SOU reports, over 11,000 statutes with structured metadata, over 25,000 cases from Swedish high courts, over 7,000 active EU regulations and directives in Swedish, and over 20,000 EU court judgments in Swedish. The dataset is designed for training language models to enhance their understanding of Swedish law. Personal Identifiable Information (PII) has been redacted, but the redaction is not perfect.
