Hot springs are the hot spots and are very important with respect to the microbiome existing in them. The mostly found bacteria in them are heat or temperature tolerant which constitutes bacteria known as thermophiles. Thermophilic bacteria are able to survive under extreme high conditions of temperature from 45°c-above 90°c. The thermophilic bacteria possess heat stable enzymes and secondary metabolites thus these bacteria are being exploited in biotechnological and industrial purposes. The discovery of such new thermophilic bacteria and their whole genome sequence analysis is very important that may lead us to know about various novel metabolites and their mechanisms.
