Okamejei kenojei egg case comparative morphology dataset

This dataset consists of four folders, labeled Figure 2, Figure 3, Figure 4, and Figure 5. Each folder contains subfolders or images that are labeled with lowercase letters, which correspond to the figure panel labels in the associated paper. For instance, the "a" subfolder within Figure 2 contains supporting data for panel 2a in the paper. Data within Figure 2 pertain to the morphological characteristics of egg cases from three species of cartilaginous fish. Figure 3 contains data on the egg-laying patterns of one group of Okamejei kenojei under controlled breeding conditions, with the filenames indicating the egg-laying dates; for example, the file titled "5-1" refers to eggs laid on May 1st. Data in Figure 4 and Figure 5 correspond to the anatomical and histological analyses of the egg-laying process of the O. kenojei. The g' scale can be referenced in the paper.
