Soil Mapping Units - Fairfield County

This coverage was created as part of a cooperative effort with the Fairfield County Auditor's office. Soil mapping units can be used in environmental analyses, erosion analyses, land use planning, etc. They can be used to map a variety of soil characteristics such as texture, pH, depth to seasonal high water table and other information from the tables included in the soil survey.
