Generation of electricity in Poland 1990-2022, by fuel type

In 2022, the primary energy source for electricity generation in Poland was coal, obtaining almost 125.6 terawatt-hours of power from this source. Year after year, however, renewable energy sources in electricity generation, such as wind or solar energy, are increasing.
