NRS-14093 | Revenue Branch - Letters received from the Colonial Secretary

After 1836, the office of the Collector of Internal Revenue was replaced by the Revenue Branch of the Treasury, which resumed the Collector's functions. These letters were sent from the Colonial Secretary concerning lands revenue, deeds, licences, tolls, etc. This series actually results from the merging of two earlier series of the Collector of Internal Revenue: Letters from Colonial Secretary - Miscellaneous, 1827-35 (4/9-12); and Letters from Colonial Secretary re Lands, 1827-35 (4/13-19).(4/22, 4/142). 2 vols.
