Identification of MLL3 and Calcineurin genomic targets in hypertrophic hearts. MLL3 and Calcineurin project in hypertrophic hearts
收藏资源简介:
Cardiac hypertrophy is an intermediate stage in the development of heart failure. The structural and functional modifications occurring in cardiac hypertrophy involve extensive gene reprogramming which is dependent on epigenetic regulation including chromatin remodeling. However, the chromatin remodelers and their regulatory mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of cardiac hypertrophy are not well characterized. We report that calcineurin can regulate the histone monomethyltransferase activity of Mixed Lineage Leukemia 3 (MLL3). We thus studied MLL3-Calcineurin interactions at the chromatin using MLL3 and Calcineurin ChIP-seq experiments performed on chromatin from isolated cardiomyocytes of mouse hearts submitted or not to transverse aortic constriction (TAC).
