资源简介:
The term Reformation must be understood as a foundation concept in the history of human progress. Reforming means adapting the Church to the progress of civilization. Speaking, writing, communicating and publishing are actions of connection between faith and the common man. Lecce welcomes, as a converted Nineveh, Luther's thought through some printed books. There are also letters and manuscripts circulating in the territory, coming from Gallipoli. The Jesuits try, through their missions carried out in the second half of the 1600s, to eradicate this heretical wind. The archival documents show some evidence of the work done by St. Ignatius's followers.
