Pseudomonas aeruginosa clusters from cystic fibrosis patients

Common clusters of Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates within hospitals frequently present cross-infection concerns. This study aimed to evaluate the relatedness of common clusters of P. aeruginosa isolates from CF patients attending a single hospital to assess how many of these are likely to be due to cross-infection.
