Analysis of Ice Cores from Law Dome, 2013

Law Dome Summit ice cores provide a unique record of climate variability and change. These records have very high-resolution making them particularly suitable for calibration with meteorological data, and therefore improving the interpretation of ice core records more generally. A long-term data set has been obtained from previous work done on the dome. As part of an ongoing monitoring project, regular shallow cores are taken from Law Dome to ensure this record is kept up-to-date. On the 4th of February 2013, a core was obtained from Lat -66 46'21.2", Long 112 48' 40.8" using a Kovac shallow ice corer. This core was analysed for: * Hydrogen Peroxide * Isotopic Composition * Trace ionic composition * Snow density The results are linked to this record.
