Cahersiveen Cross-Incised Pillar KE079-037004-

Poorly preserved remains of Cahersiveen parish church (KE079-037001-) standing in northern quardant of a wedge-shaped, disused graveyard now reused as a town park in the town of Cahersiveen, Co. Kerry. Tidying of the graveyard (KE079-037003-) in recent decades resulted in the removal of two areas of grave-markers, which were located in the south-west and northern quadrants of the graveyard. This Cross-Incised pillar stone now located standing in the town park to the south of the church ruins, measures 1.02m x 0.35m x 0.09m thick, and has an incised Latin cross on its surface.
