Groundwater Storage Anomaly derived from monitoring wells of the China National Groundwater Monitoring Project

Groundwater Storage Anomaly (GWSA) time series from 2018 to 2021 are derived using data from wells monitored under the China National Groundwater Monitoring Project. To account for the uneven spatial distribution of these wells, the Thiessen polygon method was applied to assign area-based weights to the GWSA, ensuring accurate representation of groundwater storage variations. The GWSA time series is presented in millimeters of equivalent water height.
