Ground-based radar-sounding surveys derived from NIPR radar sounders (JARE60)

Ground-based radar-sounding surveys were carried out along the route from S16 to MD700 (1010 km) during the period from 15 November to 6 December 2018, at southern area from Dome Fuji station (2780 km) during the period from 18 to 30 December 2018, and along the route from ARP2 to S16 (500 km) for the period from 10 to 19 January, 2019. We used two radar systems as follows. (1) 179 MHz VHF radar system and (2) the 434 MHz UHF radar system.
