Ground-based radar-sounding surveys derived from NIPR radar sounders (JARE60)

Ground-based radar-sounding surveys were carried out along the route from S16 to MD700 (1010 km) during the period from 15 November to 6 December 2018, at southern area from Dome Fuji station (2780 km) during the period from 18 to 30 December 2018, and along the route from ARP2 to S16 (500 km) for the period from 10 to 19 January, 2019. We used two radar systems as follows. (1) 179 MHz VHF radar system and (2) the 434 MHz UHF radar system.2018年11月15日至12月6日期间，沿S16至MD700测线（全长1010千米）开展地基雷达测深勘测；2018年12月18日至30日期间，在富士穹顶站（Dome Fuji station）以南2780千米的区域实施勘测；2019年1月10日至19日期间，沿ARP2至S16测线（全长500千米）开展勘测工作。本次研究采用两套雷达系统，具体如下：(1) 179 MHz甚高频（VHF）雷达系统；(2) 434 MHz超高频（UHF）雷达系统。
