Disadvantaged area

A part of the digital field block cadastre is the funding scope of the less-favoured areas. These are in particular areas whose yield capacity is of course very limited, as can be the case with sandy soils, for example. The less-favoured areas were demarcated in accordance with the requirements of the European Union. In order to ensure that such problematic agricultural areas do not fall and continue to be managed, the Land of Brandenburg grants aid, the so-called compensatory allowance.
