The utilization of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) is well recognized as a successful approach for achieving more sustainable agricultural production compared to traditional fertilizers and pesticides. Pseudomonas spp. constitutes one of the most diverse and ubiquitous bacterial genera, with species present in a multitude of habitats. In the present study, Pseudomonas strain Pseu.R1 was isolated from soybean rhizosphere soil in China. Strain Pseu.R1 demonstrated the ability to survive under conditions of low nitrogen and low phosphorus conditions. The whole genome of Pseu.R1 is constituted by a circular chromosome, measuring 6,417,347 base pairs in length and exhibiting an overall GC content of 59.46%.
