This bulk RNA-seq experiment is designed to uncover the transcriptomic response to modified RhCMV vectors in whole blood of rhesus macaques Rhesus macaques were given a prime (D0) and boost of one of four modified RhCMV vector based vaccines. 1) A single mrR124-restricted Dpp71 68-1 RhCMV vector expressing full-length (FL) SIVmac239 Gag/Nef and Pol inserts. Also referred to as miR-124-Rh107 DRh110 FL. 2) A single mrR124-restricted Dpp71 68-1 RhCMV vector expression hybrid* (HY) SIVmac239 mismatched Gag/Nef and Pol inserts, [*Conserved region = SIVmac 239 sequence; non-conserved region with average 2 amino acid per 9mer mismatch] Also referred to as miR-124-Rh107 DRh110 HY. 3) A single mrR124-restricted Dpp71 68-1 RhCMV vector expressing conserved region-only (CON) SIVmac239 Gag/Nef and Pol inserts. Also referred to as miR-124-Rh107 DRh110 CON. And 4) A 3-vectors set of Dpp71 (DRh110) 68-1 RhCMV/SIV vectors (Gag + Retanef + 5’-Pol), given at 5 X 106 PFU (n=10) or 105).
