This dataset comprises comparison data derived from 14 independent perturbation experiments and 3 baseline control experiments conducted using the ACCESS-OM2-BGC ocean-sea ice model. These comparison datasets are used to investigate the study: “The effect of model resolution on air-sea CO₂ equilibration timescales.” The original code for the ACCESS-OM2-BGC model can be found in Kiss et al., 2020. This dataset includes only processed results of the DIC deficit residuals between perturbation experiments and control experiments. These results are further analyzed using scripts available on GitHub (link). The dataset specifically includes the following components: Depth-integrated monthly mean DIC deficit at the original resolution, based on model output files. Depth-integrated monthly mean DIC deficit interpolated to coarser resolution, based on model output files. Depth-integrated monthly mean DIC deficit at the original resolution, based on model restart files. Depth-integrated monthly mean DIC deficit interpolated to coarser resolution, based on model restart files. Site-specific monthly mean DIC deficit integrated at each depth level, based on model output files. A CSV database summarizing the monthly mean DIC deficit parameters for each experiment. All data have been organized and archived into corresponding folders based on their respective perturbation experiments.
