Kaposi sarcoma herpesvirus reactivation by targeting of a dCas9 based transcription activator to the ORF50 promoter

Deposited are the RNA-seq raw data, after removing the human specific reads (hg38). These data were used to quantify the Kaposi sarcoma herpesvirus (KSHV) gene expression in cells that were untransfected (NT) or transfected with vectors expressing sg57-4 and sg50-2 sgRNAs. sg50-2 leads DD-dCas9-VP192 to bind upstream of ORF50 gene to induce its expression and consequently, KSHV reactivation while sg57-4 leads DD-dCas9-VP192 to induce specifically the expression of ORF57 in latently infected cells.
