Haemoglobin, red blood cell and iron status parameters from a healthy adult population in Kenya

This dataset was derived from healthy adults in Kenya aged 18-65 years and was used to estimate the burden of iron deficiency in a healthy adult population residing in Kenya and to determine the association between ferritin cut-offs used to define iron deficiency and anaemia in a population known to have chronic low-grade inflammation.
