Transcriptome pyrosequencing analysis for Solidago altissima genes. Solidago canadensis var. scabra

The tall goldenrod (Solidago altissima L. [Asteraceae]) was introduced into Japan from North America as an ornamental plant more than a century ago and, nowadays, dominates in the nature of the entire national land. In order to provide molecular insight into the intrinsic effect of genetypic diversities onto their trait change, we carried out RNA-Seq analyses for genetically different clones of S. altissima subjected to wound stress.
