A total of 5,147 samples of Japanese handwritten OCR data. The writing media includes A4 paper, ruled paper, grid paper and other common paper types. The data was collected using mobile phones with an eye-level shooting perspective. The dataset covers various domains such as Japanese compositions, poems, prose, news articles and stories. For annotation, quadrilateral bounding boxes for line-level texts and line-level text transcriptions are provided. This dataset can be applied to Japanese handwritten OCR tasks.
