资源简介:
Shattering1/SH1, a YABBY2 transcription factor, is a domestication gene responsible for loss of shattering in multiple grass species including rice, sorghum and foxtail millet. The exact role of SH1 in regulating shattering is unknown. Using green millet (Setaria viridis) as a model, a wild progenitor of foxtail millet, we generated RNA-Seq data between the wild type and sh1 CRISPR knockout mutant. We collected tissues in the AZ and immediately above and below the AZ at pre-heading and grain filling, and AZ at mature stage. We found that most differentially expressed genes between the genotypes are at mature stage, and that auxin homeostasis and signaling genes are differentially expressed.
