资源简介:
Project Description: This dataset includes noise level readings in dB(A) and associated global positioning and time data in JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) format, which is an open standard for human-readable text. The dataset was gathered in Spring, 2018 in two regions: Austin (TX), and the Washington (DC) Capital Area, for a research project called “Street Noise Relationship to Vulnerable Road User Safety”. Researchers collected the noise data via the Noisetube app on Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphones, mounted on bicycle handlebars, along prescribed routes in each region. The study addressed two research questions: (1) What is the relationship between street-level noise and crash rates for bicyclists? (2) What street and land use variables are associated with high and low street-level noise rates? Data Scope: The zipped archive contains two zipped JSON files, including a total of 113254 noise measurements in dB(A). Data Specification: dataset_lat – latitude represented in decimal degrees, using the World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS84) datum. dataset_lng - longitude represented in decimal degrees, using the World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS84) datum. dataset_date – date and time of observation in the format of YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS dataset_id – unique integer for each observation
