Anaerobic active sludge was taken from an anaerobic digestion pool in a pig farm (Yiwu, China) and anaerobic granular sludge was taken from a full-sacle Internal Circulation (IC) reactor which is used to treat pulp wastewater. 16S rRNA genes of bacteria in this sludge were sequencing by high-throughput sequencing technology (Majorbio, Shanghai, China) to find the functional bacterial group.
