VPRS 14019 Examination Results

This series consists of examination results for both Higher Education and TAFE students from the first examinations held at the school in 1909 until an administration change separated the two divisions in 1975. The results may be in the form of a percentage mark, or the letters HD (High Distinction), D (Distinction), C (Credit), P (Pass), FP (Fail Pass), F (Fail), N (Fail), NP (Near Pass), DEF (Deferred), WH (With held).An index of subject/syllabus codes and names is located at the beginning of most volumes (or at the beginning of the year) from 1960 onwards.Amendment notices and special exam notifications were also included where necessary. These indicated the reason for a change of mark, the date of the change of the mark, and provided in most cases the name or names of persons whose authorisation was needed for the alteration to occur.Units 1 through to 14 are divided into Departmental and Engineering volumes. Those units indicated in the Consignment Details as being 'Engineering' are the handwritten results, which were recorded by Swinburne.
