Replication data for: Cambodia (2010): Formative research among providers of long-term methods at Sun Quality Health clinics in Cambodia.

The general objective of this study is to gain broader understanding on what providers have heard about women's discontinuation and side effects toward LTMs. The specific objectives are: - To understand why people prefer a birth spacing method over another (for example, Implant is preferred over IUD) - To explore reasons behinds that make women feel being scared of using IUD. The hypothesis for reasons of not using IUD can be because of husbands dislike during sexual intercourse (feel uncomfo rtable), women themselves are shy during pelvic exam etc. In addition, there are many other reasons that we already know but we want to find out what women think. The study was taken placed in two phases based on the availability of the target groups. The target groups of this study are SQH mobile providers and RH UHN members. Focus group discussion technique was employed for this study. The data collection was conducted at different period, one with SQH mobile providers during their quarterly meeting and another one with UHN members during their individual quarterly meeting too. Totally, 6 FGDs (3 FGDs among SQH mobile providers and another 3 FGD s among UHN members) were conducted with each group consisted of 8-10 members.
