The aim of this study was to investigate the molecular epidemiology of Acinetobacter baumannii isolated from intensive care units of Spedali Civili’s Hospital characterizing their antimicrobial susceptibility, the genetic mechanisms of their antimicrobial resistance and establishing their genetic relatedness by MLST and cgMLST for three of them.
