Dataset of Survey on Cultivation Production in Otog Front Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, 2022

Otog Front Banner is located in Erdos City in the western part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Due to its unique geographical environment, it has formed an agricultural production mode in where planting and farming coexist. The research team visited 30 villages (gacha) in 4 towns of Otog Banner, Erdos City, and collected data on the basic situation of local farmers and their families, the status of farmers' farming production and management, and the use of agricultural machinery in 2022. The 2022 Inner Mongolia Ertokqian Banner Cultivation Production Survey dataset was formed, totaling 451 samples and 163 variables. This dataset lays the foundation for research on the pathways and mechanisms affecting the seeding and raising cycle, and provides support for researching the investment and use of agricultural machinery. At the same time, these data can provide a scientific basis for policy makers to formulate more scientific and rational agricultural policies and promote the sustainable and healthy development of local agriculture.
