A project to understand the genetic basis of formation of ovules, the developmental precursors to seeds. Whole genome sequence for comparison of two mutants to wild-type reference for mutant analysis. Two lines are homozygous ino-4 mutant and homozygous ino-4 mutant and homozygous for a new mutation, i20, that suppresses ino-4 phenotype. This comparison will allow the determination of the nature of i20.
