PSI/Kenya has in the past worked towards increasing net ownership and usage. to reinforce this, PSI/Kenya has developed a campaign aimed at addressing the gap on nets by focusing on two determinants to behaviour change Risk perception (risk is not limited to pregnant women and CU5, everyone is at risk of getting malaria even in dry season) Self- efficacy/confidence to hang a net ( I can hang a net anywhere I sleep) Consumer Options Ltd was commissioned carry out a communication pretest through assessment of different executions. After seeing the campaign the target audience should feel that they are at risk of contracting malaria and can hang a net in any sleeping area.
