Code, data and analysis results for "Confidence-Gated Escalation for SDN Link-Failure Recovery: A Simulation and Emulation Study with a Scripted Operator"

Version 4 of the record. It contains everything in versions 1 to 3 and adds: the decomposition of the diamond informed-gate reconstruction (script, scenario table and summary) and the protocol erratum of the confirmatory Abilene replay (ABILENE_PROTOCOL_ERRATUM_2026-10-20.md). No result or code of earlier versions changed. Version 3 added the protocol, code and results of a reduced-design, post hoc test of an informed (outcome-aware) and non-blocking gate on the diamond testbed (462 new forced-path trials, reusing the Phase 6 B1 and Hqos outcomes where they already cover a scenario’s other valid path). The record holds: the simulator, the learner and the training code; the experiment and analysis code of E1 to E3, C1 to C3 and Phase 4, with the frozen outputs of C1, C2 and C3 and the trained ensemble of E1 to E3; the harness code and the per-trial result tables of the Phase 5 and Phase 6 runs on the emulated diamond testbed (Mininet and Open vSwitch), among them the table of the 1,980 Phase 6 trials with its ledger, log and manifest; the Phase 6 protocol, analyses, final reconciliation, design analysis and independent review; post hoc analyses; and the code, protocols, hash lists, analysis outputs and CPU-load log of the two Abilene replays (a confirmatory run of 3,360 trials and an outcome-aware run of 5,040 trials, aware_v1). The operator is a scripted operator throughout. The raw packet logs of Phases 5 and 6 (11,941 files, about 830 MB) are not included; the record lists their SHA-256 checksums (folder local_only), and the authors provide the files on reasonable request. The record contains no SNDlib file and no traffic-matrix values. The records derived from the SNDlib data (the Abilene scenario manifests, decision plans, ledgers and raw per-trial records, and the real-data simulation study) are available from the authors on reasonable request, under the ZIB Academic License. README_PUBLIC_RECORD.md (inside the zip) maps every experiment of the paper to its files, gives software versions and the commands that re-run the analyses, and states what was and was not re-run.
