THE EMOTIVE EFFECT OF WORDS ON HUMANS

This article examines the phenomenon of the emotive impact of words on people within the framework of psycholinguistic and cognitive approaches. It analyzes the theoretical foundations of emotiveness, the mechanisms for forming the emotional meaning of words, and the characteristics of the perception of emotive vocabulary. Particular attention is paid to the role of context, intonation, and discursive factors in enhancing the emotional effect. The influence of words on the psychoemotional state of an individual is examined, including the processes of forming attitudes, motivation, and behavior. Practical aspects of using the emotive potential of language in various areas of communication are considered: education, medicine, politics, and media. It is concluded that words are a powerful tool for influencing a person's consciousness and emotional sphere, and that emotive speech is a crucial component of effective communication.
