PCC dataset

The PCC dataset was created by a research team from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of re-evaluating existing patch correctness checking (PCC) techniques. This dataset contains 1988 patches generated by the recent PraPR automated program repair tool, which can comprehensively explore the predefined patch search space. The dataset was developed to address the severe threat to external validity in existing PCC research, as prior APR tools used for patch generation could only explore a small subset of the patch search space. Leveraging this large-scale manually annotated dataset, the research team was able to uncover various surprising findings about existing PCC technologies, and provide actionable guidance and recommendations for the future development of PCC techniques.
