Recent studies have shown that the imbalance of gut microbiota has a role in the development of PCOS and may be associated with other metabolic disorders. This project used metagenomic sequencing to analyse the gut microbiota of PCOS and implied that modulated gut microbiota might play an important role in the possible mechanisms of PCOS.
