VPRS 12227 Journal - Treasury Loan Transactions

The Commonwealth Debt Conversion Act 1931 (Commonwealth) gave state governments and their respective departments, as well as organisations or individuals, the opportunity to convert previously secured debentures into Commonwealth Government stock. This series consists of a journal of purchases of such stock through conversions of debentures by Victorian Government departments. It provides details of the name of the department/organisation and the amount of debentures converted to stock.
