Dibenzo[a,e]pyrene biodegradation culture assays with microbial isolates from oil-contaminated sediment collected from the Gulf of Mexico on 2018-05-07

Biodegradation assays with dibenzo[a,e]pyrene (DB[a,e]P) were conducted in the presence of a consortium of microbes isolated from oil-contaminated sediment. Sediments were collected from the Gulf of Mexico (29.895448 N 88.827780 W) on 2018-05-07. Data includes high throughput sequencing data demonstrating the changes to the individual microbial isolates as a result of DB[a,e]P contamination.
