In Puéchabon and Pic Saint Loup forests (FR), 1495 reflectance measurements were performed in the VSWIR range (from visible to shortwave infrared) between 350 nm and 2500 nm with a spectral resolution of 1 nm by using 3 ASD spectroradiometers and a reference Spectralon white panel. Different surface types were sampled in the field: top of canopies, tree trunks and several backgrounds (i.e. grass, limestone, bare soil, leaf litter, dirt road and mix of these types). These measurements were done between April and August 2021, and in June 2023.
