资源简介:
Microplastics (MPs) refer to plastic fragments or particles with a diameter less than 5 millimeters. Nanoplastics (NPs) have a smaller molecular diameter, usually less than 1 micron. The two are collectively called Micro- and nano plastics (MNPs). In recent years, more and more studies have shown that MNPs are closely related to non-infectious chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, stroke, and cardiovascular diseases. However, their harm or toxic effects on the human body and the causal relationship have not yet been fully disclosed. This article aims to introduce the source of MNPs, the way they enter the human body, the health hazards and methods to reduce MNPs.
