The average price of one fishing rod, based on a national price survey, was 13,642 yen in October 2024. Over the period from January 2015 to October 2024 (a span of 118 months), the highest price for a fishing rod in supermarkets across the nation was recorded in November 2020 at 15,796 yen, while the lowest price was in December 2017 at 13,117 yen. The price difference between the peak (November 2020) and the lowest (December 2017) price periods for fishing rods across the national area was 2,679.1276 yen.
