Serum PFAS in Municipal Firefighters

This dataset contains demographic information, fireground exposure variables, and PFAS measurements for 151 firefighters, including 99 incumbents and 52 recruits. To protect privacy, female recruits (N = 3) were excluded from the dataset. Follow-up data collection was conducted exclusively for recruit firefighters. The fireground exposure variables in this dataset include six variables: total number of fire runs, total duration (hours) of fire runs, days since most recent fire, number of structural fire runs, duration (hours) of structural fire runs, and days since most recent structural fire. The dataset also includes nine PFAS measurements, including PFHxS, n-PFOS, Sm-PFOS, n-PFOA, Sb-PFOA, PFNA, PFDA, PFUnDA, and MeFOSAA, measured in nanograms per milliliter (ng/mL). The limit of detection for all PFAS in this study was 0.1 ng/mL. <br> <br>
