This dataset is a spatially corrected version of the 1991 Canadian Census Tract Digital Boundary File (DBF). The original boundary file from Statistics Canada contained substantial spatial mismatch error compared to boundaries of other census years. We corrected this mismatch error via a conflation procedure which is further described here: https://github.com/jamaps/census_canada_conflation
